Requirements to enter Java ( Indonesia )

Indonesia Government had granted visa on arrival favor to 65 countries to be able to purchase the visa on arrival facility upon their arrival in Indonesia's designed “International Gateway” at several airports & seaports.

Others nationals that not granted with either visa on arrival favor nor visa free favor from Indonesia government may apply for tourist visa at Indonesia embassy abroad.

 Visa on Arrival is neither a work visa nor a visit visa. Therefore, it can not be extended or converted into another immigration permit. The maximum stay permitted is thirty (30) days and could be extended (one time) for a maximum thirty (30) days .

The general requirements for visa on arrival are:
  1. Passport must be from one of the countries listed above.
  2. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months from the date of entry into Indonesia.
  3. Onward or return tickets are compulsory.

Fees:
    - Up to 7 (seven) days:   US$ 10
    - Up to 30 (thirty) days:   US$ 25. 

15 countries and territories are eligible for a "Visa Free" facility. Those holding valid passports from the following countries will be granted a non-extendable  Visa-Free Short Visit Permit upon arrival at an Indonesian international gateway without charge:
1. Brunei Darussalam = 14 Days
2. Chile = 90 days
3. Hong Kong SAR (Special Administration Region) = 30 Days
4. Macao SAR = 30 Days
5. Malaysia  = 30 Days
6. Marocco = 90 Days
7. Peru  = 90 Days
8. Phillipines = 21 Days
9. Singapore = 30 Days
10. Thailand = 30 Days
11. Vietnam = 30 Days
12. Equador  = 90 Days
13. Cambodia = 30 Days
14. Laos  = 30 Days       
15. Colombia = 90 Days
